Crawlspace Encapsulation

Hunter and Son offer the Wall Cloak® Moisture Barrier System which completely isolates your home from the earth. This dramatically reduces the humidity level in the air, which will reduce or in most cases eliminate rot and critters from your crawl space, basement and make the whole house healthier.

Factory Trained installers will remove wood and organic materials from your crawl space floor. Rocks and uneven surfaces are leveled, depending on the crawl space conditions. The Wall Cloak® Moisture Barrier liner is carefully cut and installed. The Basement Flume Barrier is secured to the walls with special fasteners and overlapped to the floor barrier. On Basement walls Basement Flume Moisture Barrier is installed 4″ from top of stem wall and secured with special fasteners and overlapped with special sealant tape for a clean finished look.
